The Assembly of the County will be making a decision on assigning awards and recognitions of Šibenik-Knin County in 2018 on Friday.

The nominees for the Award of the Šibenik-Knin County are M.Sc. Josip Ćuzela for his dedicated work and exceptional results that significantly contributed to the culture and the preservation of cultural heritage of the Šibenik-Knin County, and Šibenska Narodna Glazba in celebration of 170th anniversary of their foundation and their exceptional contribution to preservation and promotion of Croatian musical culture both nationally and internationally.

On the occasion of the Day of Šibenik-Knin County on May 17th, three organizations have been nominated for the Plaque. The nominees are: Memorial Center Faust Vrančić in Prvić Luka for their exceptional contribution to promotion of Croatian cultural heritage, with particular emphasis on the scientific legacy of the illustrious Faust Vrančić from Šibenik; Association “Kampanel 1861” from Unešić for their ten-year long project “Bring life back to Zagora” and organization of various manifestations aimed to preserve, revitalize and promote Zagora as a tourist hit destination; and Association ‘ZvoniMir’ from Knin for their exceptional contribution to the development of the civil society and their help to the most vulnerable groups and individuals in order to improve the quality of life of the people who live in their community.
